Fair Electronics, a concern of Fair Group, is a distributor and manufacturer of Samsung mobile phones and consumer electronics in Bangladesh. Samsung Mobile has signed an agreement with Fair since 2014 when the use of smartphones has just started in Bangladesh. After working a long time as a Nokia distributor, we already had a strong network and, therefore, succeeded less time by working with Samsung efficiently.

Three factors have played a key role in our success. Samsung has brought affordable products within customer reach, strengthened the distributor network, and gained customer confidence by establishing the Samsung Brand Shop nationwide. We have set up Samsung mobile phones and consumer electronics products factory at Shibpur in Narsingdi, where 5G mobile phones, refrigerators, ACs, televisions, washing machines, and microwave ovens are manufactured.

Many mobile brands in Bangladesh have started setting up and manufacturing their products. Together we want to build a technology-friendly industry. Over the years, the Bangladesh government has encouraged the mobile manufacturing industry by formulating effective policies and providing tax benefits. There will be more technology-based industries in Bangladesh in the future. Thousands of people will work in these factories. Now, we dream that mobile phones will be exported from Bangladesh in addition to mobile phone production.

Fair Technology, a concern of Fair Group, has successfully constructed a factory with the world-renowned car manufacturer Hyundai at Bangabandhu Hi-Tech Park in Gazipur, Dhaka, to enrich Bangladesh’s car manufacturing industry. We have already launched locally manufactured Hyundai brand new vehicles in Bangladesh. As a result, a good no of jobs will also be created in the car manufacturing, sales and service of Hyundai passenger vehicles in Bangladesh.

We want to lead the way in setting up technology-based industries. Samsung and Hyundai have come into production in Bangladesh through us today. Following them, other brands will also set up factories in Bangladesh, which will create great employment in our country, increase per capita income, and accelerate its development.
