Muhammed Omar Faruk Ripon FCA is a seasoned finance and governance professional with more than 26 years of experience in financial management, strategic planning, taxation, compliance, and corporate governance across leading manufacturing and publicly listed companies in Bangladesh. He currently serves as Group Chief Financial Officer, bringing extensive expertise in financial strategy, treasury management, regulatory compliance, ERP implementation, and business process transformation.
Throughout his distinguished career, he has held senior leadership positions at renowned organizations including Panna Group, Globe Pharmaceuticals Group, Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC, National Polymer Industries Ltd., Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd., and The ACME Laboratories Ltd. His leadership has played a significant role in driving financial growth, strengthening governance frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing robust internal control systems.
Mr. Ripon has extensive experience in IPO and right issue execution, syndicated financing, capital structuring, tax and VAT management, investor relations, and strategic financial planning. He is widely recognized for his ability to optimize operational costs, improve financial reporting standards, and lead complex financial transformation initiatives. His contributions have earned prestigious recognition from ICAB, ICMAB, ICSB, and SAFA for excellence in financial reporting and corporate governance.
He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) and holds memberships in several respected professional organizations, including ICSB, IIAB, CPA Australia, IPA Australia, and IFA UK. Alongside his professional achievements, he has participated in over 120 CPD and CPE programs focused on IFRS, taxation, corporate governance, project finance, ERP systems, and structured finance.
