Mr. J M Taslim Kabir is the Head of Marketing of Fair Group since November 2016 and he is accountable for all group marketing communications. He leads the Brand and Advertising team including Creative, Media, Event, Activation, Digital and PR. His experiences and excellences is the signpost of how a company can meet the targeted sales with appropriate marketing.

 

Mr. Taslim Kabir has a very strong background on trade and consumer activation having a good grasp of the Bangladesh retail environment in FMCG and Electronics business with 19+ year career with a dynamic track record. He is well known in tobacco marketing, BTL activation and also in education management. He has successfully developed and launched new brands like Briton, Sheikh No 1 in Bangladesh. Formerly, he was the Head of Brands at Dhaka Tobacco Industries of Akij Group.

He has successfully launched Japan Tobacco International’s brand Winston and coordinated with Philip Morris International. He has experience in executing projects with global renowned agencies like Landor Australia, Elmwood, Innovative Kitchen and Design Bridge of Singapore.

 

He has served also as the Business Development Manager at Windmill Asia the pioneer advertising agency in Bangladesh. Prior that he joined in Bangladesh Civil Service being 1st at 26th BCS and served under Ministry of Education.

 

Mr. Taslim Kabir has completed BA Hons in English (KU), Masters in Development Studies (DU), MBA in Marketing (IBA, DU) and LLB.
